New Soft Compound Will Allow Hardcore Atturo Off-Roaders to Tackle New Terrain
(INDIANAPOLIS) – Atturo Tire is Ready to Take on Next Level Off-Roading
Known for manufacturing top-quality off-road and high-performance tires for Light Trucks, Jeeps, SUVs, Crossovers, and Muscle Cars, Atturo today announced a new version of its popular Trail Blade BOSS Tire, The Trail Blade BOSS Green Label, Atturo’s first Non-DOT Soft Compound Off-Road Tire.
This expansion to the Trail Blade BOSS lineup will feature the same intimidating tread design and bold sidewall that customers know and love, inspired by the BOSS Hog knife. This tire has already successfully crossed the King of the Hammers and Baja. However, that is where the similarities end. The Trail Blade BOSS ‘Green Label’ features an all-new soft tread compound that will allow Off- Road Racers and Hardcore Rock Crawlers to take their off-roading to the next level.
The tread pattern of the BOSS has already proven itself as a superior design for deep mud, sand, and rocks. With the new soft tread compound, the rock crawling ability of the Trail Blade BOSS will be further enhanced. This special compound is designed to quickly reach peak operating temperature allowing excellent grip on rocky surfaces while still providing good cut resistance. The result empowers the oversized tread blocks with reduced rigidity allowing them to grip onto the rocks with confidence. The body of the Trail Blade BOSS has an extra thick sidewall for enhanced puncture resistance along with the sidewall tread lugs for low-pressure grip and protection.
The Trail Blade BOSS: Green Label will be on display in Atturo’s Booth at the PRI Show, as well as being featured in the New Product Showcase, alongside Atturo’s newly announced Drag Radial, the AZ850DR.

The Atturo Trail Blade BOSS: Green Label will be available in 2 sizes at launch specifically targeting Hardcore Off-Road Racers, Rock Crawlers, and the Extreme 4x4 owner.

These are the same sizes of Atturo Trail Blade BOSS which compete in the Ultra4 series King of the Hammers. The DOT version of the Trail Blade BOSS has finished KOH 3 Times, twice in the 4400 Class and once in the 4800 Class. In addition, the BOSS has completed the grueling SCORE Baja 500 on a single set of tires.
The same Trail Blade BOSS tires that have been used in competition in the past have been available to consumers to run on their own Jeep or 4x4 rig, and Atturo does not plan to change this with the Green Label. “Atturo has seen a lot of growth in our off-road segment over the years, especially in the Jeep Community,” Mathis explains “These owners are always looking to take their rigs to the next level and get that competitive edge over their friends, by providing the Trail Blade BOSS: Green Label to both competitors and consumers they can get the same performance on the trail as our racers will see on the course”
